Fellas just looking to give my LWB GQ the rear snip. planning on going dual cab and rear tub not tray. do you know what people before me have used as a back wall. Cant see a rear ute cab as being a feasible idea. or have people just made up there own flat panel out of panel steel and then put in a simple flat screen? Any ideas or photos would be handy. dont really want to pay a great deal of money and will probably attack it myself with the grinder.

some off the mobs that do the rear cuts sell back wall seperatly with window in primer if its cheap enough you could get one and shape it to suit the styleside

you can still use a ute firewall. just cut it to suit. mine cost $200 don't think a sheetie would be cheaper. look factory then too. using the original rear looks dicky imo, being at an angle etc
cheers

A mate used the back wall from a Navara when he did his. Just went down to the local wreckers with a measuring tape, angle grinder and really long extension cord

. Not sure what year the Navara was, but it was actually wider than the GQ!
