Wrong bl's body blocks.

I had my 2" bl's body blocks (polytherine) done today, but by mistake(my mistake...f$$k) they 've 50mm diamtr. instead of 65mm.Can I use them (without having any problems)or I must get the right ones???

I've heard of cracking floor pans when narrow blocks are used. You could insert plates between blocks and body to spread the load, but then you need to decide if you trim the blocks to maintain 2"/50mm, or go the extra 5 or 6mm (plate thickness...)

I wouldn't use 50mm diameter blocks by themselves.

Yeah I agree with Scott as well.
With 50mm vs 65mm blocks the surface area is reduced about 41% per block spread over 10 blocks (or whatever it is) that is a big reduction.
I wouldn't take the risk myself.

yea ive had 50mm blocks for about 12 years and my body has cracked not to worried about it thou .......... shane ;)

the right thing to do is to get new ones with the proper diam. 65mm.
What else must I say...?
