INJECTOR PUMP QUESTION

Post by I.M.P.O.S.E »

Just wanting to know whether a 2LT injector pump is the same as just a 2L?? Is the boost compensator thing on top just the difference!

Im no where near qualified for this answer

Thanks anyone in advance

there are other differences. the 2L-T pump has a cold start overinjection thermostat and a different timing advance curve. there are also year differences on both. why do you ask?

PS did you get your steery box?

Hey champ the reason I ask was ive got mine in the f/s section and someone asked if they fit just a normal 2L , and I had no idea so thought to ask some of the "experts" (oh and look how replied  ) That is the only reason I asked.

So they obviously dont go onto the 2l!!!

So thanks for the info too. I PM'd you about the other part!

yeah you could put a 2L-T pump on a 2L. it would be a waste though - unless a turbo upgrade was planned for the future
