Outer Limits 4x4 Board

anyone got any ideas as to how i can put hilux diffs underneath my rig, the diffs have got an 80mm wider track, and i cant outboard the spring mounts due to qld transport, and i cant inboard the spring perches cause of the diff pumpkin

all i can even remotely think of is maybe slight wedges underneath the spring pack tilting inwards and orbital eyes in the hangers????????????

anyone got any ideas?????

is cool just lettin ya know

Well thought out coil setups (conversions) are something different. From memory it's a budget project so coilovers etc are out I guess

yeah it is on a bit of a budget actually

my last one was land rover diffs, coils, a-frame etc

works pretty well actually

i just hadnt really played with leafs before, although coil-overs would be nice, then again so would fox air-ahox's

Is the f20 chassis narrower than a sierra??

If so wouldn't that put the pumpkin close to contacting with the rail??

actually to be perfectly honest mate, i havnt compared the 2, althought thats a good point and something i hadnt taken into account to be honest

i might measure that when i get home, good thinkin mate

Just as a side issue for this, does anybody know if the QLD Transport regulations for suspension modifications are on the web anywhere?
