i'm trying to think of some sort of hose that i could use for a dodgy snorkel for next weekend only. it doesn't have to look pretty cause it'll just be zip-tied to my exo, but it must be waterproof.
anyone got any good ideas?

i was just going to get some 3" rubber tube, about 1mtr long, from autobarn. aparently its for cold air induction for commodores, and ricers etc etc. its about 30 bucks or something, a bit much, but heat proof.
i also have a mate in the forces, who can get some HD flexi pipe used for incubators or something, 80mm or something, dont know where else to get hose or pipe.
theres also the option of pvc with rubber elbows etc etc.
good luck with the snorkel.

why not go for a permanant solution?

visit either - Kevin @ pirtek @ reedy creek road
Or Flexible hoses @ industrial area oppoisite harbourtown.
Just tell em what you want.. and they'll give you the right hose and clamps needed to do it.
OR
Go to Gold coast custom exhausts and tell em to whack up a nice bend for you 150 bux???? and you can attach your safari snorkel head on it??
(similiar to hypolux's rig)

I used wire reinforced induction flex hose to connect my snorkel to the air box. With hose clamps its waterproof.
About $25-$30 a metre i think. I got it from the exhaust place that did my snork.

the little panel at the bottom of the a pillar that unbolts, i'm gonna take it off (i think there is also a spot weld holding it on to, so grind that off) and run it out of there
