How do i explain this...

The turbos oil drainage - is it pressurised - such as pushes out or is it free flowing??

Reason for asking.. as I was looking at my turbo plumbing and the drainage on the turbo is at point 'A' and the block drain plug is a two way adaptor off the alternator (point 'b') which is at a higher point than the turbo drainage.

Worried that oil will just sit there and burn if its not flowing thru (pushed thru)

If its free flowing.. then ive screwed up and have to do the plumbing all over again. If it pushes the oil out of the turbo after usage.. then it shoudl be okay?????

It's a pressure feed in (smaller pipe) and a free flow back to the sump out (larger pipe).

The bottom (I hope that's where the big one is) should be pointing down with no obstruction and feeding back to the sump.

looks like i'll have to rethink it over..

Thought i may be able to run the drainage line with a lil bend up to the alternator's drain and join it up. Looks like it may not work. Ringing up turbo guys now :( :(

You'll be right, all part of the fun of modifying cars.

Try calling the manufacturer of the kit, they will probably have an off the shelf bit for you to use.

Yup, drainage MUST go STRAIGHT down, a 4x4 shop told me to put the pipe to the alternator drainage. hrmmmm they didnt know much did they..

Looks like ive no choice but drill into the sump and weld on a socket.
