Tried this tyre?

Anyone tried these/know if they are available in Oz? They are a 280/85R16 or 34 1/4" x 11".... look good eh?

Nice size I reckon, too.

They are exactly the same (and same size) as a silverstone MT117 - except for the grooved chevrons in the centre rib - which the silverstones don't have (you have to groove yourself).

The silverstones are not DOT approved and last I asked you could get them for about $205 a tyre if you shopped around. They are closer to 36" then 34".

Yeah saw that. 36" a bit too big (900mm) for normal onroad use - hence the reason why these Dunlops look like a good compromise.

To all intents and purposes 34 1/4" is still a bloody tall onroad tyre.
