I was considering choping the back off my lwb pajero and making it into a duel cab ute
Overkill Engineering at Hornsby was going to do it, they said they pretty much cut a chunk out of the middle and the join the back of the car up to where u just chopped it (but your idea might be different)
Reasons while i havn't
- Cost (uni students dont get paid
)
- insurance
- Engineers Certificate required
- Other mods to do first

My Thoughts -
Chop it off, you might as well,
Although some braces and stuff would have to be welded to the chassie to maintain the overall stiffness of the structure.
I was able to find some info on the rta website about things you can do to your car and the ways you are ment to do them (if you want more info i'll give you the link)
good luck
