Just found this and thought it may be of interest .

Product Info: BFGoodrich Brand 4x4 (SUV) Tyres. LT235/75R15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO Load Range C RWL. LT235/70R16 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO Load Range C RWL. 33X12.50R15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO Load Range C RWL. Tyres produced between 11-24 April 2004. The recalled tyres have the Department of Transportation tyre identification number which begins with DOT BF and ends with the last four digits 1504 or 1604. The DOT number can be found on the inner or outer sidewall of the tyre just above the wheel rim and are printed in small type.

Defect details: A condition initially affecting ride quality, which could possibly result in steel belt separation if not addressed.

Consumer action: Contact your authorised BFGoodrich Tyre Dealer. Or call the Customer Service Line: 1800 800 538 (8am to 5pm EST. Monday to Friday).

Product Info: Bridgestone Motor Vehicle Tyre, Dueler A/T 693 pattern and has the Bridgestone brand on its sidewall. The product has a DOT serial code with the prefix EJ LF CCB. Tyres in size LT285/75R16 122/119Q. Production Date: 1 July 1998 - 31 July 2002 by Bridgestone. Manufactured in Japan. The tyre is principally fitted to larger four wheel drive vehicles.

Defect details: It is possible that a small percentage of the tyres may experience belt detachment, especially if operated below recommended inflation pressures for the load carried by the tyre or above the maximum load. If inflated to the correct pressure and not overloaded, the tyres will perform well.

Consumer action: Consumers should check their tyres to identify the Product and obtain assistance by calling toll free 1800 354 864 to arrange an inspection.
