hey blokes just picked up a rj70 about a week ago and am planing a few mods i need to know a few things,
i am planing on running 36x12.5x15 simex extream trekker 2's
what diff ratio should i run if i also plan on having a set of 33" road tyres?
(will only be using pinion and crownwheel as i am getting lockers)
can i use hilux gears in a bundera center housing?
anyone know of a good suspension setup for good articulation without rolling the little bugger ? (are all components 80 series ?)
is it best to just raise the body and keep the weight of the chassis lower?

if u plan on running 36's, u'll want 4.8's, very rare!!!
not sure about the hilux gears... i know the same question has been asked before. try searching or pm dumbdunce... he knows most of that stuff.
i have 33's and a 2' body lift, i wouldnt be raising the body off the chassis. And for that matter, i would think about widening your track somehow... gotta go out to go up that far.

thanks bundyboy
what i was thinking suspension wise was about 2' suspension lift and 2' bodylift, just to clarify not giving crap or anything you have raised the body off the chassis with the 2' bodylift
. will probobly try and get some wheel spacers or something to help out with the widening of the track
cheers bud

A set of offset wheels will help and stop the tyres rubbing in the back wheel arches.
aftermarket springs will give u the two inch lift but 36's will rub.......
80 series front spings will give bout 4" lift and less rubbing.....

standard 80 series coils will yield a 4' lift on the bundy.
