Wheel sizes?

Post by up2nogood »

G'day folks,

What size wheel is good to fit 255/80/16's to?

Or 245/85/16's?

Might balloon a bit on the 7's I have. What does everyone think?

Are 8 inch rims too wide?

Just had a look at the BFG site (http://www.bfgoodrich.com.au/html/tires ... TA+KM.html) and it reccomends putting them on the 7" width rims.

And I just read they have a 35x12.50R18. Now that would be sweet.

The US website http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/assets/p ... _ta_km.pdf (hope it works) reckons anywhere between 6.5 - 8 inches wide for their 255/85/16's, so 7 would be prime I assume.
