xover steering legal?

hi i live in west australia and have an 82 dule cab desiel lux and have come to the conclusion that i need power steering then i saw xover steering does anyone out there know what are the advantages of it opposed to p/s and is it road legal in WA thanx

hey insane xover is power steer dude.......u need to read more on it..uses ifs p/s box

What do you mean by that? you can use a non power steer box

i thought x-ova steering took steering from above to under the leaves?

isnt that what a high steer kits for i thought they were different??? anyway is it legal i gotta drive my lux is my only ride

X over steering using a IFS steering box means that you run the drag link from the drivers side over to the passengers side. Instead of along the drivers side.
Its heaps better for articulation and also means that you can throw away the diff locator rod.
There are a couple of ways to do it... 1 way is to use high steer arms which would put the tierod above the leave or you can use a 'flip' arm setup which leaves the tierod below the leaves.
