rear spring hangers

just got the 4runner back on the road with IFS rears and 200mm shackles.
was thinking about moving the front hangers in the rear forward to get a slightly better shackle angle cos they are sitting pretty flat at the moment. with IFS springs the locating pin is 1" further back than the standard set-up so they are more likely to scrub on the rear of the guards. also, it sits sightly lower in the arse then the front and by moving the hanger forward it would stand the shackle slightly more vertical, thus leveling the car. what are your thoughts and is it commonly done. was thinking it would need to come forward about 1.5" or so.

I have just finished doing the exact same thing.......IFS springs in the rear with 200mm eye to eye shackles, but mine sits nice. shackle angle is sweet as, not sure what else you can do to fix, but i wouldnt move your fixed hangar forwards just yet......

you can move your rear shackle mount backwards but that will increase your hight as well as keeping the wheelbase you got now,but if you want the rear wheels moved forward"yeah move the hanger forward
