a grinder would help

No really, pinch your wifes palmerstone (think thats what they call it. Use that with some hot soapy water and keep rubbing.

There is also a polyurethane solvent, can't remember what its called though.

 Tell me you dont mean pumice stone. Palmerstone sounds like some type of self pleasure tool.

Anyway when I get shyte on my hands I cant get off I sand it off. Just be careful not to go too deep. When ya see pink you've gone far enough. Even worked for the black skin from silver nitrate

thats the one, pumice stone. It's a black rock type thing.

gave up on acetone, turps, metho, kero, wd40, and whatever else was handy in the garage.

combination of hardcore hand cleaner + extra sand
AND
cutex hand and nail cream (IT'S NOT MINE!)
AND
coupla runs with the pumice stone.

i started out with my entire hands coated in black... some bits 1/4 inch thick. ive now got rid of most of the thick bits and now just have lots of black stuff on my hands and arms (and pink skin from over pumice stoning)

i havent even started on my feet...
needless to say if i ever did this again id be wearing gloves, shoes and disposable overalls.

but damn it looks good now that it's done :D

 ... Bet ya follow the instructions NEXT TIME

Having been "punished" by this stuff before I've learnt my lesson well and even use gloves when using urathane now days.....

Herculiner is thinned by Xylol(Xylene)
be warned tho .... this stuff STINGS LIKE ALL HELL

The other option is to "wear it off", should take about a week ....... or 2 :finger:

now day 2 after my herculiner coating....

my hands are now just about spotless - fair bit of work with the pumice stone.

my feet however are a different story... i still have a herculiner sole on the bottom of my feet - it seems to have bonded with my skin.... thinking of patenting the idea :D

and for the questions on how i managed to get it all over myself... i didnt wear shoes (in hindsight this was a pretty dumb decision) and i didnt wear gloves (also a dumb decision).... when you're applying something akin to mud with a roller and a brush it's pretty much impossible to avoid getting some on your hands.

but i sure am glad i didnt get it on my hootus
