I know GMC Brand are crap but has anyone seen there 700 watt Generator for $98. Anyone have one?

yep ive seen them there is a few brands getting around selling them,they are all the same units. a mate of mine brougt 3 of them and as he says for that price if they fuck up after 12 mths who cares

Buy what if they *uck up your tools / appliances?? Are they cheap to replace?

An Engel Fridge rep i know tested quite a few like these (not sure of brand) and one output on the 240V power socket of 400v.
Running a fridge of a generator generally voids the warranty in most cases.

The output is dependant on the motor speed, which varies alot.

You get what you pay for (most times) just be careful how you use it.

i use one while camping the voltage fluctuates bigtime the lights flicker bright dark bright dark not really a problem for lighting

I wouldn't think many circular saw's use any less than 1500w. Most small generators wouldn't cope with even 1000w. I reckon you'd have to be very careful with what appliances you use with a generator. Especially the cheaper ones. One spike and you could kill your laptop.

my circular saw is 900w startup is slow it takes a while to get up to speed but it seems to cope if you dont put too much load on it
wont be using it anymore tho cause ive just brought a chainsaw to cut firewood and remove trees from my path
