just wondering if the pressure of 30 inch or 33 inch tyres is going to affect the cars performance or damage it
i also put the suspension post on but thought i'd get new larger tyres on first.
thanks mele

performance: yes larger tyres affect performance, you'll actually get a longer overall driveline gearing. How much this alters your ride ... swapped the 215/75 on mine for 31's and the only thing I noticed was in 5th on max speed. had more trouble with driveline vibes after suspension lift in order to fit the rubber...
damage : almost all forces on mountings and joints will be larger , but then again, keeping the increase in diameter relatively mild it won't be a problem on the steering and suspension becaus they're over engineered and can take a beating!!
easiest way IMHO is 31's and a body lift although you only gain bottom height by the increased tire diameter. just what you're up to....

First off.... welcome.
1) recommend 30"..... it's better for the strain on things like CV's etc.
Its a funny thing, like chicken or the egg thing ---- tyres, suspension, tyres, suspension??? I reckon its something you have to do together. The bigger the tyres, more lift to use em properly, and vice versa.
All depends on what you want I guess...

go lift first tyres wont fit if you dont
running 31" extreme trekker under 2" spring lift all good but no lift no fit tyre
