When I drove a taxi, I was told that a dirty air filter can cause heavy gas use.

I just went back to see the guy who did my conversion cos a backfire had blown my air box to shite. He wacked on a pod filter to tide me over and checked the timing and made an adjustment.
I don't know if it was one or both but there's a HUGE improvement in performance which I'm guessing will translate to better economy on the highway. (improvement on both petrol ans LPG)
So I think the last 2 posts could be right on the money
will 5mm leads and a new dizzy cap help with fuel economy?
dont think so mate, but worth a look if she's a little down on power. Is that a dog or a pig with a hook through its head shags?
