Hi,
A friend of mine has just bought a 80 series with ABS and is concerned about not being able to lock the centre diff in high range. I know you can make the diff lock work by turning the ABS off and fitting a switch in, but was hoping before i dive in someone may have done this before and have any advice and/or problems they might of had? I did a search but nothing came up.

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Does anyone have the part number that was listed on the LCOOL site? I wanted to do this but LCOOL is down. From memory it was just a toyota part number, so I need that number. Local toyota guys have no idea what I talking about.

Thanks,

Ben

The difflock switch from a 1990-1995 is different to the one in a 95-98 model. Which one r u after??? If it is later, check the wreckers for rav4's as they use these aswell.
The switch from Toyota is $130

Chasing the earlier one (1994). No luck with Toyota spare parts guy (spoke to a different guy). Reckons he needs a part number.
