without giving it any lift, whats the largest sized tire that can be fit under a rangerover classic without risking panel damage.

A mate told me that he could just fit 7.50-16's (31-32") on his stock height 2 door rangie. But he said the rim offset had to be just right (rangie steels maybe) and any wider pattern and the tyres would cause problems.

7.00 and no trimming required as fitted to the old "Camels"!
