4" - 5" suspension lift (difference)

What would be the diffreneces in those 2 lifts beside hights?

well not alot if its going into a shorty it could mean $1000 difference but on a wagon not alot you have to buy the same stuff well diff caster plates but same price

Yes, i was thinking about LWB, but forgot to mention it, sorry. So no adjustable panhard bars....?

oh so you want to know whats involved -
ok extended brake lines
adjustable panhard rods
caster correction
springs
shocks
this list is for both 4 and 5 inch lift

My Mannell 5" Megalift kit came with adjustable heavy duty panhard rods. This is the only difference to the 4" kit as far as I can see. Don't know about other brands.

Yeah, i was thinking ordering from Mannell myself. What was the price for your lift kit?

Every car appears to be different..
Some do, some dont. Same as lift's in shortys, some hate 3inch others reckon they have 6+in with no viabration or any issues IMHO is dogs bollox.
Mine has 4inch kit and has adjustable panhards, but that was lowering it from 6in down. But then again it was supposed to be 4inch to start with, so I had the
www.bigballsoffroad.com kit, now have quality OME kit in mine.

The thing is i'll be ordering from Mannellmotors and since i'm from Croatia(thats in Europe) paying freight for what should be in the kit for the first time isn't making me happy not to say paying commison to bank for wire transfer, then the guys handling the shippment, etc.
Bogged what do you think i should ask Nick at Mannell to put in kit?

What do you intend to do with the truck? That helps with what lift you should run and what shocks, springs etc .
What tires are you going to run? Is it going to be for competition? What limits are there in your class?
Steer clear of Rancho Shocks, they dont last. and if you have warranty problems, then sending back to Aussie is not a good idea, it will take time, weeks maybe.
What brands of shocks are available over where you are? Any?
I see that Offroad Events dude is offering to help out, so maybe have a talk with him, see if he can help.

The shocks i can get here are trailmaster(europa made not usa), ironman and very expencive OME. Tires are 33x12,5x15. As for competition i plan to compete as 'tourist'. As i'm new to all this and the money here isnt good so breaking somethig would set me back for a while.
EDIT: What about procomp or tough dog shocks?

Ironman, not sure
Tough dog, some say they are good, I havent been out with anyone using them..
Procomp know one GU owner unhappy with them, but others that are happy.
With 33x12.5s you dont need more than a 3in lift really but 4inch is accepted as normal!

As for its cheaper to import then buy it locally. And here i cant find any of mentioned above that do more then 2'' lifts. What shock are you using btw?
