Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I may be getting a "Warn" brand winch for next to nothing...at present it is fitted to a mitsubishi trayback truck used for salvaging old cars..the truck is now out of rego with seized engine parked in my backyard...as far as I know the winch is still working and connected to dual batteries...My question being is I want to fit it to my 40 series cruiser but would like to know will it work on a single battery or will I now have to install a second battery or dual set up to get the best use out of it...??

It will work off your single battery. Just have to be carefull of flattening it.

Check its not a 24v winch as a lot of trucks are 24volt

Two batteries in parallel would be better if you plan to use it without the engine running.
