Sierra shackle bushes

:?: Easy one I hope.What type of shackle bushes give best service life and where about do you get them eg. genuine/non genuine etc etc.Stock springs for the time but putting extended shackles in and bushes are stuffed.

from what I gather most people use the genuine rubber bushes as they are cheaper then the after market urethane and flex much better.

but urethane will last much longer. I have OME bushes (ome springs too) they have been fitted for 8 years, and are still in fair condition, christover

go to your local suzuki spare parts shop for the rubber bushes. for the aftermarket there are many places at varying prices. some online shops that might sell them suziwest, snake racing, bigballs offroad. ARB etc

urethane will give better on road handling.

Good quality rubber bush kit (front and rear) complete with stainless steel crush tubes for $50.00 suits all leaf Sierras and LJs available from 4WD Warehouse-Hard Parts, Blacktown. 02 96221000.

Speak to Greg Page, he hasn't had much to do with Suzuki parts but should be able to help you.

:lol: Squik,thanks for that ,sounds ok for 100 bucks for front and rear as i am on some sort of a budget. Ithink so as the missus says stop wasting money on this and that and other associated parafanalia. You guys would now what i mean.

ive got a full set af nylo bushes for a zook (front and rear) ya can have for $50 plus postage. Bought them for my LJ but ive since sold it. PM me if interested
