Extended Shackles

What does everyone make there extende shackles out off? Do you bolt or Weld the H section? How long Should they Be? How bigger lift can ya get out of them? Any pics or Diagrams would be great.

How many mm thick and wide is that Channel?
How longer extension did you get out of that?
Should you weld or bolt a middle brace into it?

I forget the exact numbers, but it is as wide as the original 40 - 50mm? and is similar thickness to the original 1.5-2.5mm?
I think its 4omm longer, giving 20mm of lift and softening of ride.
I picked the length to suit the drop left over in the shocks. christover
