No probs. Just mark where the tailshaft has been rubbing remove the crossmember. Cut a piece of 90mm tube in half ( longways) cut a slot in the crossmember and weld the 1/2 tube into the slot so the tailshaft will run in the slot at full artic.

pitty you are in wa, you could have swapped yours for mine, as i went to duel transfers and have bigger issues now. i used 50x50 angle, but pipe would not concentrate the stress like angle hence be better
cheers

Just to make sure im getting this right you are talking about cutting a section completly out of the cross member and replacing it with pipe or just cutting the top section out of the cross member and inserting a piece in so it sits on the bottom section of the cross member pretty sure its rubbing were the gearbox mount is you no the 2 turrets on top of the cross member but will have to lok to be sure

Just try to cut where the gear box mount is and see if that does the job. It usually does.

just cut a v down from the rubber mount on the very rhs(drivers side) to the horizontal line of the member remove the chunk and replace with angle. basically a v front and rear and two lines fron to rear.
