I installed the seats from a Swift GTI in my Sierra. Just needed 6 drill holes, some nuts and bolts, and now it is more confortable than ever before.

It would be good to go and wheeling. I don't mind to go there as I bought my seats over there.

Go to the hardware shop and buy 8 bolts with nuts 8mm thread by 30mm long. I put high tensile in mine, but it is not necessary. I have a drill bit 8 mm and a drill. Or if you have them is better. And just have your tools, Rachet, sockets, spanners, and maybe a six pack.

So you just used your standard runners?

I hear this can make the seats sit to high and you hit ur head on roof...might be b/s

8mm bolts no worries

tools ...Yeah I got em

Beer bring it on

Well I'm 1.78 mts tall and my head is ok, you are just 3 cm higher than before. BTW I like that height it means more room for my legs. And the other good thing is that using your standart runners you can just tell the truth in any revision: THEY ARE A BOLT IN.

Grab my email so we can stop the chit chat here and stay in touch to fit them.

I was under the impression you had to use H/T bolts, like legality wise?

The original factory bolts used to attached the seats to the car and the rails to the seats aren't high tensile. But I like to use High tensile in any mod just to be sure.

Whats a good price for a set of GTI seats?

Mate if you have a Coily thiink it twice before buying a set of GTI seats, HRZ00K has a coily and we couldn't install them. Too many mods needed to fit them.

Great seats

These Sierrras are so tempting if only they didn't suck so much on the high way and long trips

They are very rare to find, but if you are lucky enough to get a set they are a piece of cake to install. Well not in colilies though.

Not an issue as I've already fabricated a base mount for the coily. Did it on the weekend for a set of Monz seats in a mates coily. But at $300 each the Monza seats are a bit dear for me.

I can confirm that GTI seats in the earlier zooks are easy I have a set in mine and they are excellent. Makes such a difference when you are doing a bit of driving around.

A very big difference, I took the car outroad last weekend and it was amazing, no more sore back.

I agree older sierra seat rails fit piece of piss and if your lucky like I was whole GTI for $550 now I'm doing the engine conversion and the GTI steering wheel is much better than the std one. Bit of luck I'll make money back on parts off the car.

HRZOOK: Did you end up fitting the GTi seats?
If not are you interested in parting with them?
