Differential Ratio

I have a 1991 Daihatsu Rocky, i installed bigger than stock Mud terrain tires, and it looks that changed my differential ratio to a way higher one, i cant go on really steep road without changing to 4low, this would be normally tackled by any passenger car on firs gear ,also while offroading on steep trails the engine dies before tackling it on 4 low , does anybody knows wich differentials from what car would fit to my Rocky, i really need to upgrade mine, the main purpose of my rocky is for offroading it dosnt matter if i loose the top end speed to about 55 MPH. I just rebuilt my engine and compression is good the engine sounds a lot better than before and it dosnt seem to be helping my offroad performance i have seem some really nice Daihatsu rigs with 31x2.5 tires climbing uphill pictures , (somebodys got to have something for it)

Anny Suggestions
Thanks

hey ed.... honestly? rev the hell out of it.. dont be afraid to approch the 6k rpm mark.... she can handle it if you put her together well enough. again, what size tires are you running? if your running them too big.. you may have to downsize. so let us know wha size rubbers u got on.

Actually most people here run 31x10.5 tyres and yes i too complain that the gearing is a bit of a bitch.
Well if i were u, maybe u should try finding the differential ratios from a petrol Rocky and install it into your diesel Rocky.
This is because the petrol rocky final drive is 3.9:1 as compared to the diesel which is 3.3:1. That should increase the crawling ration to 34:1 in 4L 1st gear.

Sorry to hijack the topic but it would be great if someone could post up the final drive ratios of the F10 to F60 Rocky, Blizzard, Scat.
Coz i'm considering swapping to the ratios of the above mentioned rocky as i heard the final drive ratio is as low as 5.2:1. Anyone can clarify?

Oh my bad,
so dont shoot me yeah.
If its the Feroza, no choice mate. U have to rev the nuts out of it. My silly friend runs 32inch XTreme Centipedes on his Feroza and he has to rev the nuts out of it. He seems to be able to drive it on the road up and down hill without problems except that i get to blow him off when going up haha.
The power of the sucky 3Y engine. :D
