Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Wishing to install a 2" inch body lift on Mates 89 model Ford Maverick (LWB). Does anyone have the specs for bolt length, amount of needed etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

2 inch longer than standard...

Just watch the two rear bolts, they've got some kind of locktite shite on em from factory, I had a mate who does it for a living do mine and he reckoned the two rear bolts are the biggest trap for the unwary. Did mine about four months ago.

GQ is right tho dude, try using the search function up the top f the page, search in the Nissan forum and you'll find pharking tonnes of shit on how to do this. Good luk anyway!

I've checked and seems to be similar to the GQ layout but was just wondering if anyone has done it?

Before anyone asks, I'm not interested in it so much to fit bigger tyres as I want to raise the front shock towers and doesn't look to be much room (Read: Fark all!) to do this.

if the inner guard is anything like the GQ, there is a small panel, you can remote, and you will be able to extend them into the engine bay, you may need to move a few things.......

Sparky fitted a 50mm BL to his GU ute. But it is a pov pack, so no airbags.

Mine's the ST but as it's a ute, also no airbags.

The hard lines running from the chassis (under the cab) up to the brake booster on the drivers side and some air canisters on the passenger side look like they will be the main prob. There is a short section of flexible line connecting the tubes on the passenger side that I should be able to replace but don't think they have anything like this on the driver side.

I only want about 35mm to give me enough room to extend the shock tower 1" and leave a bit of extra space so maybe I won't encounter much issue with that height anyway.

I guess it's a "suck it and see" thing.
