85 lux X-tra cab, which i brought on the weekend,
as a long term project vechile

it came with no motor..... no biggy.....i've got 3months without a license

except QLD transport has granted me a probationary license yesterday  , which i jumped at obviously and am now desperate to get it running and registered

I WANNA GO WHEELING I WANNA GO WHEELING I WANNA GO WHEELING

i need motor, g/box, t-case, and associated bits and bobs, i can install it myself, ijust need a drivetrain first

any suggestions as to what i can run?????

and if so, has anyone got something, they'd be willing to part with???

Go the 3rz-FE same as Beebee put in his rig. Will give heaps of power but at the same time toyota standard. Is only a 2.7 motor but I would say has more bang for buck than the options you have listed.

22R 96Hp 170Nm
3RZ-FE 150Hp 240Nm

PM Beebee for info on this conversion.

they're all good motors. whatever you can get your hands on cheap is the winner

guys after reading all the posts of different motor conversions, yesterday and realising the price, i thought i should probably add one little catch, i've only allowed about 2grand to spend on the driveline :? :?

there goes the V6, or most other decent motors

what do you think would be the best bang for your buck????

might do a 3rz-fe for that and then just use standard hilux box etc etc
