Hi, i've been watchin this forum the last few months and starting to take an interest in Rangies all over again.
Looking at buying a 93 model Vogue with the whole shebang, including the "EAS", has anyone had any trouble with the electronics that control the system, as i believe very costly to fix. Another thing what options do i have in relation to lifting the bugger, is it a case of tossing the "EAS" and fitting the standard coil.

Any thoughts??

Hi and welcome.

If you keep the air sus fit and indepnedent method of pumping up air bags.

You can buy a kit for a few hundred or purchas the parts for $50.00 aprox.

this then allows you pump up hbags when computer ect dies.

most issues are caused buy lack of maintanence.

OK, do the airbags hamper articulation in the bush, or do you get similar travel to the standard spring.
Also, the lifting issue, i'd like the room for 33" MTR's could i keep the bags at full height, and settle for the body lift only? Would this give me the clearance needed?

Thanks

air bags can be lifted by fiting a spacer under. this requires relocating the sensor up by the same amount.

Artic is ok. slightly less than sprung RR.

I believe the air bag man has longer air bags available these will give greater artic.
