Snorkel Question

Hoping someone can offer some advice 
I have an FJ45 with a 350 chev and a 4 barrel rochester carbie
how do you attach a snorkel to the top of the carbie, does someone make an adaptor plate so I can connect it to a couple of hoses and jerry rig one.
I really need to get something sorted b4 trials
Any help would be appreciated
