Could any XL7 owners please tell me what brand and size (eg 235/60 16) tyres you are running. Also any problems you my have had.
The options in the maket are not varied as I am used to on 15in rims.
I am hoping to run a narrow but tall profile to reduce the chance of scrubing on the insde of the guard.

Pretty hard to find one that size. I have been looking for one and the only one I could find was from Bridgestone.
I am tossing up with either the Bridgestone 235/60/r16 or doing a OME lift and a 235/70/r16 BFG All terain for my Grand Vitara.

I had the Bridgestone's before I went to the BFG muddies, and the Bridgestone's are crap. Lasted about 25,000kms, terrible to drive on and off road. Had the BFG's now for about 50,000kms and still a good 40-50% tread on them. Ran 235/70R16's on a 1" body lift, then got suspension. Needed to round off some edges on the front plastic bumper.

Shame they don't fit over the front brake calipers. This would have been the first thing I do.
