No 3 cylinder dark spark plug 1.3
Have read something in this forum about no3 cylinder.Now cant remember wether it was about compression or what but on the weekend running down hill 3rd gear small smoke trail and then bit more smoky as i accelerated.Pulled out plugs and no3 was darker than others but not oily.Valve stem seals i am thinking.What do youse think as im not really into engine changes etc just yet.

If its not oill, then running rich, or not burning the fuel on that cylinder is a possibility.....poor spark on that plug can be a cause, as could be valve issues..look at the cheap fixes first..plugs, dizzy caps, rotor button, leads etc, b4 ya blow money on head jobs..get compression tested, that will tell if valves are ok ...christover

I use nylon rope down the plug hole, to hold each pots valves in place, while doing stem seals......air would be much easier ) best a luck with it..christover
