I have heard a rumour from a friend at home that the qld governent is trying to make side bars illegal or some crap. something to do with nothing supposed to protrude past the sides of the guards in order to cut down on damage to other cars
any one know if there is any truth to this or is my mate full of s*&t.

The worst thing about it is that it is happening as of the 1st of Novemebr with a 60 day buy back period. After that the vehicles are deemed as illegal for on road use.
Mines and government departments are exempt as long as they lodge an exemption application with the relevant authourities before 01.01.05. After that any new vehicles required by them will need to pass a test on their neccesity level.

they took ALMOST my whole collection including my 2 pride & joys in the last buy back the last thing i need is 4 yous givung the goverment any ideas on how to f*ck my new hobby up
