drop pitman arm (tarago)

I have read that a pitman arm off a tarago will work on a sierra. is this true and if so what year toyo do i need to find.

Wont work on a Sierra steering box as the sector shaft is too small. If you fit a Vitara power steer box to your sierra you can then use a Tarago pitman arm. It's not a drop arm as such, but offers more drop than the Vitara pitman. The Tarago one also looks like a normal pitman, as opposed to the goofy looking thing that Vits come with.

The taper is different to the sierra drag link though, so you'll need a custom drag link or get a sleeve machined up. There are also mounting issues with the Vit box.

All correct, they only fit a vitara or jimny box.
They come off the early taragos ( the ugly breadbox looking one)
There's not a lot of meat at the balljoint end if you want to fit a bigger TRE. I think I have a spare one of these somewhere...
Drop is only about 2 inches.
A Sierra drop pitman arm can be resplined if nessesary.
