Hey people ive got a 75 series cruiser with 2 inch lifted king springs & after a lot of mucking around with the springs ie removing leaves, getting them re-set im still not really happy with the suspension, it still fells to hard & doesn't flex enough
I was wondering if anybody has found a suspension kit for a 75 that works well & is comfortable for long trips & not so bone jaring?

yeah, i've got a 75 series which i got a standard front spring pack and had the two main leaves lengthened by 40mm at the rear of the spring. the extra length has to be at the rear so it doesnt pull the shocker back and hit the shocker tower. with the longer pack i then got it reset. this gave me about 3in lift and is alot softer than standard. travels right up to bump stop and drops out more than any aftermarket spring i've ever seen. it cost me about $260 to get done at ram springs in melb. i wouldn't waste my money on a kit, most are way to rigid. i've been running them for about 2 years no probs. done heaps on dunes at robe and trips up north flat out up the cape and no cracked or broken leaves. i also put rear shackles on the front coz they are a bit longer.good luck buddy

Allot of blokes with 75's find that 99% of the "off the shelf" kits aimed at 75 series cruisers ar for pure load carrying ability, so they are never going to flex that well; empty or not.
Best to go custom or start getting the grinder out and fiddling yourself. Hit the search button, there was a thread goin a while back by big steve in melb on workability with a 75 series.
As your in NSW you should be able to get extended shackles and springovers engineered if you want to head down that path.
