Does anyone know if the the front and rear axles of an MK can be replaced by thos from a GU?

anythings posssible. grind the mounts off the gu and setup for leaf or weld mounts and spring perches on the chassis and setup for coils. drive shaft mods will be needed. steering attention will be needed. unless you are handy it will be cheaper to buy a gq and just swap the front diff.

cheers bru

Not to mention an MK has the rear diff offset, and a GU has the rear diff in the centre.

just run the shaft at an angle. the shaft still moves in a similar angle just in a different plane

Thats been my major worry about running a GQ diff in the rear of mine. So the tail shart running on that angle wont matter. If so it sounds a lot eaiser then cutting and off centering the diff.
