I used to run Penrite diesel(25/60) in the 2H, & didnt have a prob except in very cold mornings. 10deg & lower.

HaHaHa, we are lucky to get a temperature over 10deg down here in Tassie.

Very cold morning for us are around 2 or 3 deg.

does the filter on the 2H point up or down? if the top of the filter points up, did you get a filter with an anti-drainback valve?

have you checked your running oil pressure to make sure it is up to spec?

I'd go the penrite HPR premium diesel oil, it is pretty good, if I bit thick. also go the factory oil filter, the toyota filters are tops.

cheers

common for toyota diesels

my 2h has always stalled first go and then runs fine, so has my 3B, just give it about 800-1000rpm (idle it up a bit) for a few seconds right when you start it and she'll not stall and be fine!!

show us pics of your truck!!
