Alternator bearing

Post by grungle99 »

Anybody had the rear bearing carrier flog out in the alternator?

My 62' alternator (Nippon...) was rebuilt some 6 months ago, and now the rear bearing carrier has let go.

Anybody got a spare 62' alternator. From the 3F. Only really need the housing.

Hey,

The bearing would cost about $12 probably. You could replace it yourself.
