External roof rack/rollcage legal?

Queensland used to not allow full rollcages, would that include a 2inch tube external roofrack & slider system that may coincidently protect the body from low speed "leaning" damage?
2nd question, anyone seen any good picks of external cages on GQ (dual cab makes it interesting or easier?) or know who could do it round Brisbane?

an external cage is legal in queensland as it is really just scrub bars and a roof rack.

There used to be a gq wagon competing in the xtreme winch series with a full exo, have a look on dave's site for pics, or on mark's site.
Wizard on the gold coast would be able to help you out with tubework.

Are you thinking something similar along the lines of the army commando's nissan patrols?
These have bull bar, brush bars, side step rails, A C & D-pillar up to a roof rack, and rear bumper rail.
They are insane, I have seen one of these in a roll over with minimal A-pillar roof damage only!
Might be worth getting pics of these.

no officer its not a roolcage/exo cage its my ladder rack etcetc i carry big ladders ne stuff and i needs a little extra support
