liftin front shock mounts

has anyone lifted their front shock mounts. any advise on what to do

I can't really advise you on how to do it, but i've got lifted shock mounts on the sierra i'm doing up at the moment... I'd be more then happy to e-mail you some pics if your interested..it'll at least give you a few ideas on where and how to mount them.

No prob, I just took the body off it so I should get some good clear shots for you. I'll take some pics tmrow morning and e-mail them to you both.

E-mailed 2 pics to you guys, sorry about the size of them, but I'm not to sure how to shrink the size of the pics when they're transfered onto the computer.. In one the pics I sent, the blue bottle top is where the original shockie mounts are on stock zooks. hope these help.. just let me know if you want any from a different angle or something..

have you changed to eye to eye shocks for the front? i wanna keep using my pin to eye rancho's.

Yeah, they are eye to eye, but I'm sure if you welded a mount similar to whats on your stock chassis to the top of the extened mounts like in the pic, you'd be able to run pin to eye no prob..
