G60 locker question *copied from the bible*
G60 locker question *copied from the bible*
Ok i'm now confused, can you help me. I understand the heavy duty rear diff of a g60 if a H260? If so, what is the difference between this H260 and the MQ H260. The reason i am confused is that ARB have a locker (RD 70) for the MQ H260 diff. Why can't this be used in the g60?

Perhaps you can use one...but I do believe axle spline count, thrust blocks, ring & pinion, bearing size will all come into play. If the two H260's are similar enough then I am sure you could mod the MQ H260 locker to fit the G60 H260. But...I have neither here.
The info in the bible is meant as simply that....info. It may not all be correct, no way I can check it all myself. But it is a resource G60 owners should find useful.
Perhaps some of the MQ guys here can tell use the specs on an MQ H260 to compare to the G60 H260???
