need help with removing front wheel hub!

hi,, i need some help with a 95 hilux wheel hub. im sure all toyota ones will be very much the same.

i need to take off the disc as it is fu*ked
and i need to take off the wheel hub to do this.

ive taken off the 6 screws holding on the front cap (hub lock)
ive taked off the spring washer thats on the end of the axle

now i need to take of the hub body.. im told this is held on by cone washers? what are they and how do i get em off to get the rest ofF??

help.

get a workshop manual, heaps easier cause it lets u look inside of it

yeah i got the work shop manual.. but there very vaige in what the say.. thats how i know fot he cone washers..

its the normal black cover with green wirting on the front book for pertol hiluxs/4runner from 70's -97

give the hub a light tap till it breaks the seal on one side then get a big flat bladed screw driver in there and lever and tap the oppisite side till it pops off

and by the spring washer you mean the sir clip?

i was smacking it real hard..
but i was using a rubber mallet so maybe i gota try with a nylon or copper?

it wasnt a cir clip.. more like a split washer.. i aint sure

Take a brass drift and hit the studs holding the freewheeling hubs. Hit it squarely at the end as if you are driving them deeper into the wheel hub.

ai.. that worked a treat.. the brakes are all done..
new a set of new rotors was only 100 at repco..
