Guys, what's the WMS width of the Rangie rear diff? Any differences in year models or are they all the same? Are the full floating or semi floating setup?
Thanks

I think the Classic rangies are full floaters and the P38a's are semi floaters. Not sure what the WMS are though.

Classic is full float.
And I thought the P38 was as well.

I'm pretty sure the P38a and D2 share the same axles. The D2 is definately a semifloater. Hmmm, conflict - not sure then Michael.

P38's and D2's do not share axles, but they are of similar design - non floaters.

It is such a shame Land Rover made the backward step from full float to semi float - after doing away with it in about 1954!!! Once the defender is replaced it will probably be all downhill unfortunately.

Thanks fellas
The WMS measurement would still be handy if anyone else reads this, off a classic rangie to be precise.
