Had a mates wedding the other weekend and he was using 4b's as the wedding cars for the guys and for photos afterwards.
So i told him i'd put the 39's on my 80's for it, he was keen so i did.
Heres why ya shouldnt....
1) How mad does that look, heaps better than those gay 35's
2) How fat does it look
3) You will start thinking gee it wouldnt be that hard to make them fit off road, heaps of room to trim the front guards and enough to trim a bit outa the back guards then re do the flairs, wouldnt even need a body lift.
They fitted, well enough to drive to the wedding & back any way... they stuck a mile outa the guards, but as i was only driving on country roads, and thru no towns figured would get away with it.
Went to the wedding and than back home to swap cars before driving into camden for the reception, no worries....
Drove about 20ks each way.
4)Anyway during the week the RTA came out as someone had reported this big red landcruisrer with huge tyres and given them the no: plate.
They defected the 80 sitting in the drive way even tho it had the 35's back on.
The 35's hang about 5mm out the guards, the guy from the RTA said that because he had been called out that hed have to defect it as technically the tyres are outa the guards, also said that with the 35s the track had been increased too much...
Any way not complaining, cost nothing, just thought it was funny, and was suprised that someone would bother ringing so quickly seeing as the car did about 30mins of driving....
Heres some pics with the 39s....
