ok ill do the whole story... girl friend was driving home today and the timing belt broke @ 80kmph, what i need to know is, _is_ the engine interface or non interface ala can the valves and pistons touch each other???

cause money is _VERY_ tight at the moment, and the less i have to do the better,

thanks in advance...

My understanding is that it is a clearance head and hence belt breaks, car stops and minimal damage

im a little on the non thinking side today... does that mean there is no piston vs valve problems if the belt breaks?!?

if so, your a legend for telling me what i wanted to hear!
