Have tried Bendix 4X4 pads and found them to glaze up the discs which caused all sorts of issues. Have been using Bendix metal kings since and find them very good except for the first couple of stops in the morning. They need to warm up. Contrary to popular opinion, I have not found the metal kings to wear the discs any more than other pads and last 3 to 4 times longer.
Have pretty much the same opinion as p76rangie regarding the Metal kings, though I have the Bendix 4x4 at the moment and have not had any problems, not that i have really looked for glazing either! Will check...
Here I am - at the crossing of life I stand
On my own - looking down the road
Hear my cry - answer me
Still I'm searching yet the truth is unknown - though the night is cold
I walk the road alone

I have run Mintex, 2 sets up front and 3 set in the rear over 2 yrs now and only changed to bendix cause the mintex squeal towards the end of there life drives me crazy (ware indicator I fink) but there is heaps of meat left on the pad so I dunno what the deal is!!
As for the Bendix so far so good but I have noticed they are softer compound so only time will tell how well they ware…
