It keeps making noise, box just rebuilt and been back twice for recto.
Any idea what would be causing this as I don't sit at the lights with my foot on the clutch.
Is it a regular problem with them and what would happen if I just left it?

If it makes a noise when you apply pressure to the clutch pedal, but not enough to disengage the clutch it is a faulty thrust bearing.Does it only make a noise when you disengage the clutch fully? It may not be a faulty thrust bearing but a buckled clutch plate that sometimes happens when the fitters have difficulty lining the gearbox back up with the engine upon installation.
Bill.

It's is only happening with the clutch out. The thing is it's is not happening all the time. It is quite intermittent.

Try adjusting the slave push rod (or is it cable?) to make sure it is fully disengaged.
Just to be clear, is the noise with the gearbox in neutral with your foot off the pedal?

That is correct.
Will have a look tomorrow if it is cable or pushrod.

Could the noise be coming from the oil pump? With LT95 and LT85, it is on the front of the gearbox near the thrust bearing.

When I am idling at the lights I have a "clack clack clack..." type noise coming from the bellhosing area, that stops when I put my foot on the clutch. The boy was rebuilt just before I bought the truck and the clutch and thrust bearing were replaced. The noise hasn't changed over the time I have had the truck (30-40k km) and the clutch works perfectly with no shuddering or vibration.
