seen an article in australian 4wd monthly issue 54 about doing gas conversions and it mentions a tiny bit about the new sequention gas injection where gas is injected through injectors just like petrol. have tried calling a couple of gas places but they want nothing to do with it. the benefits are incresed horsepower(lpg has higher octane rating so i'm told) and up to 25% better fuel economy than the common gas set ups. if you know anything about these systems post it up or drop me a pm. have tried to contact the magazine but they won't return my call, cheers

I always thought that gas injection this way was very hard on the motor. Made it goe real well while it lasted. Gave similar benifits to running NOS, just with out the extra oxygen, as it cools down the intake. Allowing more explosive mix to be jammed in.
But due to the extremes of temps it was very hard on pistons and valves. As when the gas was injected the expansion of it from a liquide, causes it to drop the cylinder temps very low. Then it goes bang and things get very hot. This was causeing pistons to crack. Only real fix was ceramic pistons and valves which cost alot.
Cool if they have overcome these problems though. As the effenciy was suppposed to be really good. So would be great for those with V8 conv.

not sure if it is injected as a liguid pretty sure it is a vapour judging from a guy who i talked to in australia today, he is the only place in aus doing this so far but hasn't got the financial backing to make it viable yet
