Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I've got a '81 cj7 with a factory Isuzu diesel engine. Because of the poor performance I am intended to build in a Daihatsu 2.8 turbo diesel with an intercooler as well as the tranny and splitter gearbox. Has anyone information on what problems will come up? (I'm a mechanical engineer)
