Loctite product is called UltraBlue or BlueMax. They changed the name - can't remember what from/to...

There are also other ones aswell - I have seen a red one.

Colour code your gasket goo!!! :Fade-color

Yep ultra blue is the stuff you want.
It is now called loctite blue max silicone.
But if you ask for ultra blue any decent auto parts salesperson should know what your talking about and if they dont go somewhere else :).

It was originaly designed as an oxygen sensor safe silicone for exhaust manifolds etc on EFI cars. But everyone uses it for all sorts of jobs now caus it works so well.

I always use Locktite 515 master gaskit the purple s#@t, as this all I use at work for sealing low pressure hydraulic crap like pump/motor cases and tanks.....ect.

And it comes free...................... so I have no idea what it costs

It will say in your user manual thingy... putting LSD oil into an open diff wont harm it... it just wont do anything extra special
